2023-24

MCSR Ranked is a global Minecraft Mod that makes speedrunning a competitive esport with a leaderboard, elo system, and regular tournaments.

The first step in the branding process was nailing the logo and the colorway moving forward.

MCSR Ranked was trying to do something never thought of before, and required immense technical graphics to make everything a reality.

Below are both frameworks and screenshots from the actual streams themselves to see the intricacy behind what we produced.

Keeping things Dynamic.

Utilizing motion graphics was key in having an engaging stream experience and making it easier for viewers to understand the information.

The ranked team consists of many editors and designers. This starting soon graphic was created by an artist named Budgie under my Creative Direction.

Along with broadcast graphics it was important for Ranked to grow across all channels.

To promote attract sponsors, one of the important decisions we made was to create a high quality Pitch Deck.

This has successful helped us land partnerships and connect with more brands in the wider gaming community.

For the second season of the MCSR Ranked Playoffs I took on the ambitious task of a full player documentary.

I decided to interview Silver, the winner of the first season, about his story becoming one of the best players in the world.

This was originally split into 2 parts across the 2 days of the tournament, and took a full week to create.
